3. Finite Element Analysis
FEA was performed while the pill punch was closed to determine stresses. 10 N of force was added to the tip of the pill puncher, and 40 N of force was applied to the top blue grip surface. A pin joins the top and bottom halves. Gravity was included for the simulations.
